In this article it is says about the major weapons in the World War 2, as these weapons go on, there are more and more high tech birthed at that time, for example, plane and bullet, the things people never seen in the ancient time, especially the plane, in the ancient time people could only think about it even some people couldn’t have a think, but at this time it comes true, people can fly from now on. At the same time films began to come into people’s lives and change people’s lives. Many government began to propagate these things activity in order to spread them to people’s airs.

This picture explains about the attack happened on Pearl Harbor, in 1945 the American threw a bomb in this place and this made the Japanese scared, at that time Japanese was invading China, because of this thing Japanese stopped invading China, and they withdrawal their arms to China, to defend their place.

I think of the death during the wartimes, the conflict between America and Japan, because of this many innocent people died to take part in the war, this made them lost their relatives and their families lost their lovers, and this made many people homeless, and because of the bomb, it can damage everything near it, even a strong thing can be damaged when is occurs the bomb, the bomb makes the bankers nearby disappear forever.

In this picture I can see there are four soldiers walk in swampy water after a day’s war, three soldiers use a stretcher to burden their wound solder, and it seems like the rain stopped just now, everything seems fresh, including sunshine and air, these three solders want to burden their solder to hospital.

When I look at this picture I think of the cruel if the war, every innocent solder need to abandon their families in order to defend their own countries, they fight hard in order to make the rip off the enemies, but there is nobody cares about them, no one cares whether they are live or die, and this picture can also reflect the friendship between solder and solder, and every of us need to learn their spirits.

From this picture I can see three solders sitting behind a tall tree. The one in the left was eating something, perhaps he was hungry after a day’s war, and it can be said that he liked the food very much, he thought it was delicious. The middle one behind him was writing a letter to his family, he forgot everything around him, and he only knows he needs to write it. Behind him the right one was lowering his head to think something perhaps he missed his family very much.

This picture makes me think of the lone of the solders all over the world, because of the war they need to leave their families for a very long time, during these they can’t go homes, all the sad thing they tell their families is only a paper.

Vocabulary story

Prior to the 1980’s in order to remember Tom, people in this city initiated a program to build this primary school and soon after this school developed very swiftly. At first, in order to let students study well the headmaster purchased lots of desks and chairs for students. He also invited many excellent teachers including some immigrant teachers. These foreigners can help students learn English well and this made student won’t be scared of English any more.

When you first enter here you will be attracted by the beautiful landscape in this school which is crude instead of man-made. There are many beautiful trees everywhere and many flower. Every day there are many workers in the campus who curtail the flowers and trees. This can help a student to release tension if they feel tired. As with the other school in China, this school also has military training to help students study hard and not be the slave of laziness or surrender to the laziness.

In this school there exists an interesting phenomenon exclusive for students. If a student is not satisfied with his teacher, he can make a rebellion. If his students all like this, he can solicit them and then make an uprising in the school, then the school will have a conference to make this teacher resign. When the students were asked what was their dream they said “to defend the frontier of my country, annihilate the enemies before they make havocs. “Or I want to be an astronaut, because I want to experience how I will launch to the sky, thus I can enjoy a long expedition in the universe”.

Unit 4

In this article it is talks about the distribution of food, and how people solve the distribution problems during the war, at first there existed lots of problems about food, but as the time went by, the government began to care about these things. On August 10, 1917 President Woodrow Wilson established Executive Order 2679-A creating the U. S. Food Administration, in it he discussed about how to solve the problems and how to distribute food equally. So later after this the government began to control the price to rise.

I think the reason of food distribution is important during wartime is that every solder should be strong if he want to win the war, if a person is hungry, he can’t play the war success, he will lose his life in the war, it is not worth for him and his family.

Sioux Treaty of 1868

Summary:

There are many struggles between America and the U.S. government and Native Americans because of the land. Among these struggles, there are still any other struggles happened, and lived painfully. But America fought with this all the way, at last in the spring of 1868 a conference was held at Fort Laramie, and signed a treaty between the whites and the Sioux, but there are still any other problems, and America tried its best to solve it.

Imagination:

I was a soldier, when I saw most people lived painfully, because of the war to Sioux. I felt sorry for them. I wanted to defend my country although there are lots of difficulties because I was not afraid of sacrificing.

I was a pioneer travelled with Daniel Freeman during these years; in order to get land I can say that it was not that so easy. We came across with price problem, the area problems and diseases problems; because the Mexican-American war happened in the mid 1800s, make the prices of corn and wheat rise. And then wind, blizzards, and plagues of insects threatened crops, this made many farmer lost their profits. After the follow years there are still some new problems appeared. At last on January 1, 1863, Daniel Freeman and 417 other filed claims, soon after this many more pioneers built the new country, and many people got their own lands. At this time people began to enjoy their lives.

A letter to my home

I am a soldier in this Civil War; this letter is writing to my wife—-Kandy

Dear Kandy:

Haven’t seen you for a long time, how has your life been in these years? I lived very well, please set your mind at rest. I joined the war every moment, now I set aside time to write letter to you.

I know it must have been hard for you lately. I’m sorry I can’t share happiness and sorrow with you. How about our parents and our three children? You must take care of them in these years and now as your husband I want to say “Thank you” to you. I think I want to encourage our children to join the war as their father did to defend our country and the people in the country when they grow up. In these years, I know that I live in this world not only for myself but also for my country.

Dear, I am sorry, I must tell you a fact now, I know all the people in our family miss me very much, and I also miss you. When the night comes, it’s the extremely moment I miss all of you. But I don’t know when I can go home, perhaps tomorrow, the next week or even years, because I don’t know when the War will end.  The war is cruel. In fact it may never end, so I may need to abandon our family to defend our country. I’m sorry! If I were to sacrifice myself in the War, don’t be sad, because your husband died for his country. At last please take care of our parents and our children, I love you forever!

Your honey:

Dave

Fhotograph of the Civil War

Describe my picture:

In this picture, it can be seen that, there many workers who are working near the Train Track(railway), beside them there are some Labor contractors, and they guard their workers. It can see their shadows. The Train Track(railway )had been damaged in the war, so these workers are working hard here to repair the trauma in the war. There are many withered trees far from them. It can reflect the cruel in the war.

The effect on the people:
I feel sad for these workers, in order to repair this, they have to leave their relatives, and bear everything that we can’t image. They all want to stop to have a good rest, but the Labor contractors near them guard what they are doing.

The effect on me:

When I see this picture at first sight, I can realise the sad of theirs; they work hard under the hot weather, I can’t image how much sweat they had flowed, they are working here to repair the trauma in the war, but who will repair their trauma in the war?

http://www.archives.gov/education/lessons/brady-photos/images/camp-scene-winter.gif

Describe my picture:

In this picture, there are many horses, they are here to pull the woods from this place to the other, many of them pull a lot of woods, but there are still many leave near them. There are many houses near them, perhaps in these houses there are still many woods. They work so hard in order to service to the war, which happens at this time.

The effect on the horses:

I also feel sad for these horses, in this war nobody pay sympathy on them, they are just the tool of the rulers, they don’t have their own freedom. Although there will be more things on their banks, they will never say a word.

The effect on me:

When I see this picture, I can see the cruel of the war; the rulers treat people like this, even to the horses. The trauma in the war is temporary, but in their hearts it is forever.

The Civil War

Answer to the question:the civil war is a war between north and south in America, it had been last for a lot of years, in order to defeat the other, both of them did their best to do it, and they all show their advantages and disadvantages.

The north

1. Advantages:

1.1.1.1. Its population was several times that of the South, a potential source for military enlistees and civilian manpower.

1.1.1.2. The industries of the North that produced needed war materials.

1.1.1.3. The North had a better transportation network, mainly highways, canals, and railroads, which could be easily used to resupply military forces in the field.

1.1.1.4. At sea, the Union navy was more capable and dominant, while the army was better trained and better supplied. 1.1.1.5. The rest of the world also recognized the United States as a legitimate government, allowing U.S. diplomats to obtain loans and other trade concessions.

2. Disadvantages:

2.1.1.1.1. The North suffered because a series of senior generals did not successfully exploit the weaknesses of the South, nor did they act upon the suggestions of their commander-in-chief

The south

1. Advantages:

1.1.1.1.1. It held several that would pose great threats to attempts by their Northern neighbors to end the rebellion 1.1.1.1.2. The South was able to fight on its home terrain, and it could win the war simply by continuing to exist after the hostilities ended later.

1.1.1.1.3. The South also had a military tradition that encouraged young men to serve in the armed forces or attend a military school

1.1.1.1.4. The South had the leadership of great commanders, including Robert E. Lee, Joseph Johnston, and “Stonewall” Jackson.

2. Disadvantages:

2.1.1.1.1. It had to worry about its slave population, which posed the threat of rebellion and assistance to the Northern cause.

2.1.1.1.2. The South lacked the substantial number of factories
